Introduction:
This article assumes that an IDE Tenant has been set up, and will show you how you can execute a transfer of an existing IEA (ILAP Exchange Agreement) using either the Desktop Client or the Autonomous Client.
Step1: Sign in to IDE
Go to the IDE website and log in (if this is the first time you sign in, a user will automatically be created and assigned to your IDE Tenant).
Steps for transferring using Desktop Client as Executing Component
If you want to perform transfer using desktop client follow these steps
- Install the Desktop Client from the Microsoft Store.
- Launch the Desktop Client and sign in with your credentials.
- Once you are authenticated, all your scheduled upload and download actions will be visible within the application.
- Click the designated upload or download button to execute your part of the scheduled transfer.
- Finally, the transfer will begin upon clicking the button.
Steps for transferring using Autonomous Client as Executing Component
When creating an IEA with a connector where the Autonomous Client is the executing component, the setup wizard presents two "Automated Uploads" choices during connector selection. The way your transfer is executed hinges on this selection.
If "On": No action needed - the transfer will automatically happen on the scheduled time (due date). However, you do have the option to open the Transfer Center and upload the schedule prior to due date.
If "Off": You need to open the Transfer Center and upload the schedule manually by pressing the "Upload"-button.
